In the past, we haphazardly hired contractors without checking on them or determining if the bids we received were comparable. Once Certified Property Management was on board, they provided us with specifications, so the bids we received from contractors allowed us to compare apples to apples. Also the work was professionally supervised and payments made to the contractors were based on performance schedules.
